Why go organic?

Organic cotton is hypoallergenic and does not cause any allergy or irritation when it touches human skin. Babies and children are most vulnerable to the health risks caused by pesticides and fertilisers used in traditional cotton production.

Organic cotton does not contain any allergenic, toxic or cancerogenic substances that can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled.

A non-organic garment retains the pesticides used to grow the cotton and to these are added chemicals used to color and decorate the garment. Non-organic clothes put the skin in contact with chemical residues that remain even after many washes

The farming of organic cotton improves the quality of the soil and water. It uses less water and less energy than traditional cotton. Furthermore, organic cotton is farmed with respect for the workers and their well being.
